As some of you may already know, I spent part of my afternoon at RPI. After shooting the breeze with the guys, Vegastrashed and I decided to grab a quick bite to eat. During which we decided to go on some friendly ?Mexico Runs?. Nerweezy ended up meeting up with us to witness the massacre.

I knew my car would not stand a chance against VT?s AMG beast, so I demanded the go with a 3 car lead. We found a nice stretch of road, thanks to MacFly, and proceeded with a couple of short sprints. I gave it my all and by the time VT reacted and attempted to catch up, we were out of room.

We decided to find a nice open stretch of highway to stretch our legs so we headed further down south of the border. On the first run from about 50mph I was given the go and by the time I hit roughly 110mph, we were out of room and I was still ahead. It was decided that giving me the go with three cars was simply too much, so the three car advantage was taken away. I was given only the go and had the lead up until about 110mph, upon which VT was easily able to catch up and pass me.

Before things got too hot in Mexico, we decided to call it a night and went are separate ways. VT was only toying around with me, but it was a fun run. Overall I knew I was going to be beaten, but the question was how badly. Based on the outcome the 535i faired well against the AMG beast.

Thanks Gene. Yeah I was running map 6 without any error codes. The new chip seems much stronger than the previous version.
