What do you mean castrated? What's up with Tom's car.

Had RPI sec 1 and 2 installed to go with my sec 3. The power was great and sound awsome but
it was too much for me as this is my daily driver! I really missed the power and sound but can't have
the best of both world! Car is still plenty fast with RPI remap,Scoops,Pulley and Filter.
Also sold my ACS wheels so back to Modding again
new wheels??/ Nice

Good Tom! I was never a fan of those wheels. Glad you decided to change it up.

I dont know D, I think my 550 is just as fast as the M5 except on the high end.
It's not. I raced poleposition(550), gregg2gs(550) and bimmer722(545) last summer at our "Airport Runway Runs" and it wasn't even close from start to finish. This was a true test, since there was no other traffic around, we were not on a public road and we had 2 miles of open, STRAIGHT road, in front of us. This might as well have been an open 2 mile drag strip.

Sure, at the high end I gained my distance, but right from the get-go I was already in front and just kept gaining. It was never close, even in the beginning.

So what happened Tom? Did you add on the sections 1 and 2 then remove them?
What do you have in mind for the new wheels?

Would really like to see a run between 550i stock vs 535i modded.
Don't want to hijack this thread but i think i'll stick with 20's.
Considering HRE Monoblock.

During the la habra meet, after miru, i ran a 550i and won.
At the time I only had JB3 v1.1 with DCI...which lose HP.
But I would love to try it again.

HRE MONOs are siiiick. Which one's P40, P43, P47, or P50s?

Sounds like some fun and friendly runs. Just curious how fast Joe was passing you at 110; I mean did you guys go faster than that and if so, to what speed and how many car lengths did he put on you?

MacFly, is that the owner of the white M5 wiping his wheels? If so, that's StreetKing on M5board and that guy has an amazing collection of cars (M5, GTR, ZR1, F430, Supra, to name a few).

Tom, how about the Neez QD7 instead of the HRE Monobloks? The QD7s are better looking and lighter. Or how about the new B9 Technic wheel from WheelExperts? 20" and barely 20lbs.
