Nice thread, Vegas. I have no clue where I'd post this. After all it is about a meet, a performance, and the competition. I actually enjoy all this banter but I'm glad I'm not a Mod.
He did make good title choice didn't he? And, yes, we even talked a great deal of BMW performance.

This is where Joe said it would end up, and it's probably the right place since it doesn't have much to do with BMW performance.

I'm clairvoyant. I only wish that it would help with the lottery.

I will be careful; whoever, he seemed OK. Z06 back and unharmed--except I forgot to chastise jiio for leaving finger prints all over the area around the door handle. But, my bad, I forgot to tell him how to close the door on a black car. And, thanks on both counts. It's not that I really intend to create a ruckus. But, I do try to help out when I think reasonable objections to apparent policies, whatever the source of the policies, are presented.
Hi Zman. You are correct about a black car.It is a whole new experience on how to keep it looking good.Black is beautiful when well cared for,but looks like crap if you don't keep after it.

Did you give Vega any driving lessons on how to handle a manual? You never know if you teach these young wippersnappers too much they will start kicking our butts.Seriously I am glad you 2 got to meet,I wish we were a little closer,I would enjoy meeting up with you guys and a few others.I feel like an outcast here on the east coast.

Joe is good with a manual. He didn't try any fast starts from a stop. Understandably, he was a tad intimidated by the car. I was too when I first got it. But, I got over it quickly, and he would have too. Did you see the part above about my ankle break. I "break" torqued too hard.

Hey Vegas, sounds like a very cool trip to Phoenix and hook up with Znod. Especially given that he let you drive the Z06.. sweet!

Znod, sorry to hear about the break, hope you're feeling better soon!
