I was going through my home video library and came accross my European delivery trip . realizing that i never posted any pics or info on the trip , decided to create a small 5 minute video .

it's not much and some of you guys may think its lame  but, breaking in a brand new 545 on such a twisty road was quite exhilirating.

It was on July 18th, 2005.

I had just picked up the car from Munich that morning and drove south through Austria, then up the Swiss Alps then down again (the video you just wacthed) on the Italian side of the Alps and stopped for the night at Lake Como.
That first day was almost a 10 hour drive.
I think the strecth of road in he video was Route 3 from St. Moritz (ski resort) down to Lake Como.

Looks like it could be great content. Is there a way to view this in the correct 16:9 aspect ratio to avoid that squashed look?

Good question.

I'm not sure why it did that. It's my first attempt at publishing a video on the Net.
The camera is a first genetration Sony mini DV-cam that i bought back in '98.
I guess its time to upgrade.
