Exactly.. she made a decision choosing that as a profession. Easy money for doing something we all love to do, but she obviously knew she'd be judged for it. They wouldnt get paid as much if it was a respectable career.

First morality is defined as "concern with the distinction between good and evil or right and wrong; right or good conduct"
or
"concerned with principles of right and wrong or conforming to standards of behavior and character based on those principles;"
Having said that working in the porn industry hardly qualifies in "conforming to standards of behavior" as the vast majority of people don't get paid for sex and tape themselves doing this. Also this behavior can very well be categorized by legal institutions and the Church as wrong or evil. And one just has to ask oneself this question: Would i agree or encourage my own daughter to do such a thing? If the answer is NO than you already know the answer to the question of morality and ethics.
And yes the thread is about respect but morality and ethics are strongly correlated with respect in my books. Sorry but i can't have respect for a man or woman that lives in a live style generally accepted as immoral or unethical. As i said respect is gained, not taken for granted. That's not to say, that people should be treated at first with disrespect. No, i treat them equally and neutrally until i get to know more facts about them.

Yes, not everyone deserves respect, but what we all fail to recognize when thinking about it, is that respect for others is something that stems from self-respect. How much respect do you have for yourself? My guess is - not too much, since you allow yourself to fall low enough to advocate a virtual public stoning, basically.
