PS Great job on awakening all the attorneys of this forum BTW - if the legal profession was going through a slump, you'd be stimulating the economy

and if you do get a video of making that dealership manager cry, I promise I will never ever EVER make any smart-ass remarks to you, about you or even without you! I swear! Just do it, man! Do it!

Happy Monday.
I thought 2012 was a disaster movie - THIS TOPS THE CHARTS!
BMWNA, I"m sure a Rep is reading this post and I'm confident you ignore the bad language of a frustrated customer but you won't (NO can't) ignore the HORRIBLE customer service.
I've been a pretty loyal BMW guy since the mid-80's and have received very good customer service most all those years. However, it's readily apparent that BMWNA has not yet achieved consistent quality service across it's dealership network. If the brand is to maintain a respectable position in a market that is increasingly competitive situations like this must be addressed quickly.
While the financial component of this situation may have to be resolved by the minions of attorneys cued up already, the car and its known defects remedied by a qualified service tech, it's the CUSTOMER who really needs some attention! As for the OP, if you've not yet called BMW Customer Service, I suggest you do so IMMEDIATELY, and follow it - and ALL future - communication with an email to keep the paper trail well documented!
Maybe, I KNOW IT'S A LONG SHOT ... but MAYBE, maybe ... maybe ... maybe ?!?!? ... BMWNA will step up and take SOME initiative to get this issue on the right track.
OP - Good luck ... try to stay calm and present the facts ... they will support your position.
OH ... PS ... I don't think a turbo'ed BMW is in my future - it may be THE future ... but just not in mine. Too bad, back in the 60's my turbo Corvair Spyder was trouble free but thank G_D they don't make them like they used to

well, my car should be done tomorrow. I got a car from enterprise today. The BMW dealer is covering up to $30 bucks/day. They tried to put me in a chevy colbalt. I said "I dont think so", then got the enterprise guy to put me in a 2010 dodge ram quad cab for $37 a day. I am paying the $7 difference for the 24 hours. It is worth it IMO.
If anyone needs furnature moved, or just wants to hit a honky tonk tonight, give me a call!!!
