Man I wish people would read before barking...

1- Some other members of this forum said that they did or still do park this way. Your question comparaison makes no sens, you are comparing oranges with condoms.
2- Obvisouly you need to define what hell I need to get over since I said that I will no longer take two spots because of the helpful coments I got.
3- If a question annoyes you, dont answer it!
4- And at the end of your post you say "I see people do this on a regular basis" you should go up to them and tell them what you think see if you have the balls.

C'Bimmer calm down!!

Nice comment GT Premi...love it

Here's the thing. First of all, I have nothing against you. I don't even know you. However, I have seen people do this probably 2-3 times this week alone (and one happened to be an E60), so your post was just bad timing. That's all.
Let's hug it out man.

Btw... I have said things to people parking in 2 spots and people wrongfully parking in handicapped spots. So far (3 times), none have gotten confrontational.

hahaha! same here.
i always look for another bimmer preferably another e60 and park next to it.
taking up 2 spaces is just unbecoming.
never parked near soccer moms.

Dude, if I was you, I would be worried for some guy to come in and scratch the car because you took two spots. I agree with the rest of the members, take one spot and make sure it is as far as possible from everyone else.

Hi folfs,

I was parking this morning at work when a guy (passing buy me in his car) asks me if there is something preventing me from parking in only one spot (since I always park on the yellow line and take 2). I just said that people don't care about their cars as much as I care about mine and that, parking like I do prevents them from ruining my paint job.

He then looks at me and says: Well we all know that people who drive BMW's are all ass holes anyway...

And he drives away...I mean he got me all pissed and didn't even stay around to let me fire a come back (I had a great one loooool)

So what do you guys do or think ???

1 or 2 spots ?

I park in 1 spot - always.... and I park waaaaaay out where nobody else is, adjacent to a curb or pole to minimize the chance of an idiot parking next to me out there. I have instructed my wife to park my 530 and her X3 exactly that way. There is a reason our cars have zero door dings.

If you take 2 spots close in, you are likely to have your car trashed just because parking is a hot topic for people.

My $.02 worth.
