Hello Znod!

Enjoy your Europe trip!

Please send in some more nice pics as you did last year.

Is the weather as nice there as it is here, sunny and above 25 C?

Btw, the sun don't go down at all here!

F? CK? That car is from F?rth, I believe. And then you can pay a lot to have a personalised sign after the area you come from - which apparantly (?) this guy did...

BTW, you haven't been in the Baviarian village Fucking then?

Great answers, although, on my screen the second image is the Ford, while the third is the Opel. I should have asked only for non-European answers on the Ford and the Opel. The US guys probably would not have figured either out. And, I plead not guilty to being in any Bavarian village Fucking.

Thanks ats, and good point on which country Fucking is in. To make things clear, I also plead not guilty to being in any Austrian village Fucking.

Hi Gang:

We are vacationing in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Most of our time will be in Germany along the Romantic Road. We flew into Franfurt, rented a 320d, drove to Wurzburg, and now are in Rothenburg. The later two are wonderful places; we spent almost no time in Frankfurt. Tomorrow we will drive to N?rnberg--just to get a quick look at the Ring. AFAIK, nothing is scheduled for tomorrow. So, I don't really know what we will be able to see. There are two kinds of cars so far BMW's and MB's; 50% each. More later.

Best to all,

"The" Zman
You must have zipped right past all the VW Lupos and Smart cars.

I have enjoyed the fast lane. Since I don't know the 320d (i.e., its safety readiness), I haven't been traveling much more than 100 mph. The fastest drivers have, with one exception, been the "station wagon" drivers--many tending to be driving a bit in excess of 100 mph. The exception was someone driving, I think, a VW Phatheon. He came up on me, with me going about 100 mph, very quickly, and, of course, I got the heck out of the way. I have been surprised to find a few people poking along in the fast lane and to find some trucks taking forever to pass others in the fast lane to go only a few mph faster.

Hi Ice:

Thanks for (probably) thinking that we might meet up in Frankfurt on our way out, but we will not reach out hotel, the night before we leave, until about 10 pm. Then, out flight is a very early one. For some reason, I did not realize that you are in Frankfurt. But, next time I'll definitely plan on meeting up with you.

Best, Znod
Yep, that'S what I was thinking.

Ah, well, next time Don! You're allways welcome!

Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Yep. License plates like this one are only given out on request.
Some others are never ever given out (when they have any Nazi stuff on it like SS in example).
