Graham Rahal (Bobby Rahal's son) as well as other drivers of the Champ Car World Series (formerly CART) are actively promoting that people (especially kids) refrain from texting while driving.

i admit i am guilty of driving while texting. i memorized the keypad and text without looking but reasonably, still not a good reason to do it. i have to break the habit.

What a coincidence that you posted this thread Rudy. freed0m was involved in a minor fender bender this morning. His new Hamann diffuser took the brunt of the hit. After being hit from behind, freed0m noticed the driver causing the accident throwing a blackberry to the floor in disgust.

Speaking of kids on phones, etc... Virginia just passed a law July 1 that all drivers under the age of 18 may not operate a vehicle while talking on a cell phone, even using handsfree. They must shut off cellular telephones while the car is in motion, and pull over to the side of the road to make calls.
