I know this is off topic for a BMW Forum, that is why I put it in the "Lounge", but when I come upon a good product, I feel it is good to pass on the word.
I ordered interior 3" wood plantation shutters from U.S. Shutter Company and am very pleased with the quality and price. They only ship primed and sanded, so you will need to paint and install, but for the price, you can find someone to do if for you and still save money. The people who handled the sale were really nice and kept their word.
U.S. Shutter Company
To compair, the cheepest buy/install price I got for my windows was $4,900.00. I purchased the same quantity at $2,100.00. I spend $200.00 on paint and material and did it myself. I figure, I saved about $1,500.00 even if I needed to pay someone for the labor to paint and install. Since I did it myself, I save about $2,500.00.
This was also the only company I could find who would make a one piece shutter 35" x 106". I have really big windows in my house and didn't want a 4 piece shutter. I wanted two really big shutters. I have pictures if anyone is interested.

I wish I could call the extra money mine, my wife seams to think she can get more shutters for the family room and kitchen with it.
