I looked up bluetooth and the max power and Range is
Class 1 100 mW (20 dBm) ~100 meters
Class 2 2.5 mW (4 dBm) ~10 meters
Class 3 1 mW (0 dBm) ~1 meter
and in that vid the F1 car must be over 100m
also I dont think the phone will have a class 1 built in, unless it is 1 off a kind

Brawn GP is faster than all cars.
Rubens Barrichello was over a second quicker than the field.
Hamilton was almost two seconds and five kilometres an hour down on Barrichello, completing just 70 laps.
