My Ride: #1: 2004 545i; 6-speed manual; Sport Package; Mystic Blue with a gray leather interior and Anthracite wood; CWP; Logic 7.

The speeds change constantly on the autobahn. When there is a limit, obey it more or less (+ - 10 km/h). The speed is posted on those signs with a red circle. Outside cities and curves, they lift the limits, and you'll see a sign with four gray stripes in a diagonal, and the circle doesn't say anything in it. Just the diagonal stripe. Meaning "no restrictions." You will notice other local cars speeding up, so by the time you see that sign, the other cars will already be racing away.
It's a demanding sport driving above 150 km/h miles per hour safely. Just watch like a hawk for other drivers making mistakes. It's awesome fun to make some good runs, and to play in the left lane you have to be prepared to accelerate and brake very aggressively -- and then, especially when you're tired or the conditions are questionable, it's relaxing to just run with the pack in the right lane.
