So I get a call from Verizon today offering to upgrade my FIOS to 35 Mbps Down and Up too, and the kicker....it will cost me about $20.00 LESS per month!!

Verizon will allow you to re-bundle your services every couple of years, and every time they sweeten the deal too! If you're a customer, call them and see what they will do for you if you've not re-bundled in the past couple of years!

That probably has to do with the amount of copper wiring between you and the Verizon source....in my case they have now finally gone COMPLETELY to fiber optics from the station to my neighborhood, so they can offer these speeds which are MUCH faster than anything Time Warner offers here.
