One hidden feature of the 5 is that my wife can't tell how fast I am going. 
With my old car, she used to say slow down and grab the dash when I don't brake to a stop early enough. (She starts braking 300 feet from the corner when she drives her car.) Now, she only complains when I make a left turn in second at 4k rpm. 
She loves how I smoothly make right-hand turns at 15 mph 2 feet from the sidewalk 
(but not as much as I do, and then by myself at 25 
).
