haha i thought about getting a lawyer but since this all happened so quick there was no luck. I had a few of my detective/cop friends try to contact the cop that issued me the ticket but he never returned their calls. There were three seperate attorneys that tried to argue with the cop or find a technicality and they all lost. I think one of these lawyers got it reduced. This cop was fluent with all these people and had pages of notes. This cop was a grade A douche. 99 percent of the people he issued tickets to got between 2 and 4 tickets. He gave me 3. speeding 70 in a 50 unsafe lane change and tints. And the tints he didnt even measure my window he just said "oh looks like you have tints" while i had all my windows rolled down.

Cops are good for tacking on multiple violations at a stop since it increases the chance for some sort of conviction in court. Sounds like you ran into a cop that knew his shit - it happens.
I agree that you might have had a better chance with a lawyer on your side, but its no guarantee and I find it hard to believe you could get one to appear in court with you for $100
4 points is going to hurt, but at least its behind you now.

I had gotten a speeding ticket in Westchester 88 in a 50. which was 8 points. I had a lawyer go on my behalf, they charged me $500 but they had it dropped from an 8 point speeding ticket to a 2 point disobeying a traffic device.
