For me, the HD movie capability isn't that important. But I've heard that there is software available to capture single shots from videos shot in the HD mode. That could be the answer I'm looking for in terms of continuous shooting~
I have the software, it call Adobe Premier pro CS3 and Adobe After Effects CS3 Pro
they can both capture stills or render the full movie to stills

Actually, the 200 f/2 IS is -the- lens... Too bad it's so damn expensive. It was released in April 2008. List price of $6K. I am thinking of renting one for a bit just to torture myself.
