Nod. I used to work for Verizon also... originally UUNET, then WCOM, then MCI, then Verizon, etc... I ran a lab too among other things. I definitely understand the order of magnitude you're talking about.

Exactly, I need to work from hoe sometimes or i would never see the light of day Besides, it is SO much easier to do a config at home and just show up with a flash drive and a text file - download, leave, charge 4 hrs

Wanted to share this. Its always been cheaper to order parts and assemble your own pc rather than buying it new from a store, not to mention more customized. I've always built them from scratch since I was younger. If your thinking of getting a new PC soon you may consider building one, heres a good guide.
