You make it sound like everyone in the US is rolling around armed and ready to shoot. I think you have watching too many movies. ![Big Grin](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/biggrin.gif)

Not an import. It is brand new, G2 trigger, LIFETIME WARRANTY. I know it is a little pricey for what you can get an AK for but... brand new, the extras, and the warranty were worth it. I chose this over an AR... basically for reliability and the larger round. 4-5" spreads at 100 yards. Good enough if SHTF. Once these are banned... and they will... value will skyrocket.

That's a good one!
But we don't carry guns, we only carry hockey sticks. I think it's not fair that you guys can use guns to defense against hockey sticks, baseball bats will be more suitable.![Big Grin](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/biggrin.gif)

Yeah, but it's "old-tyme hockey"... (Hanson bros...) and we need something special to defend against that kind of violence.

I understand your points. But think of it this way, if I know my neigbour owns an AK, I will feel very uncomfortable living beside him. I will be very scare when I see him having a beer because alcohol can cause people to do some very terrible things even in the smallest conflict. I will also be very scare when I'm in a car accident and won't want to get out from the car to argue with the other driver because I don't know what's in his glove box or trunk and what he's going to do with it. So on and so on........ Living with these kind of feelings all the time is quite miserable. But AGAIN, NO DISRESPECT at all to all gun owners, it's just my 2 cents. original.gif

IMO, if I KNEW my neighbor AND knew they were armed, I would feel MORE comfortable leaving my loved ones at home knowing that my neighbor would be able to protect/defend them if needed.
Most non-gun owners are so UNINFORMED and UNEDUCATED on the issue that it leaves us educated and experienced gun owners exasperated. So here's mini school on US Gun Policy...
1. In order to possess a handgun legally, you have to submit to a federal background check, and a 5 day waiting period.
2. Varies by state but, to carry a concealed weapon... must submit fingerprints to FBI and wait for clearance... this takes 8-16weeks
3. LIFE IN PRISON is possible for shooting someone unless "imminent fear of death" can be substantiated.
Here are our gun-handling instructions:
a: All guns are loaded
b: Never point the barrell at anything unless you are intending to shoot
c: Never put your finger on the trigger until you are ready to shoot
d: Know what is behind your target
To all you non-gun owners. Carrying a gun makes you more respectful, and more fearful of conflict.

Got it today! It is a beauty both of craftsmanship and aesthetics. There were several police officers and former military personnel in the shop when I performed my transfer. They all took turns handling and examining it and now they all want one too. I will post pics this weekend! Now to get magazines and ammo before they are gone. Have you tried to buy 7.62x39? Good luck. I am on backorder, and it will only get worse.
