You know what's ricockulous, is that I ordered my damn plate back in January and still have not recieved it!
I kept getting the "wait a bit longer" routine everytime I called about it. They finally re-ordered it a couple weeks ago because the order was somehow deleted! 
Hopefully I'll get it sometime this year...

My plate is V8 4PLAY. Got it the day before my quad install, after a looong war with the DMV over the word "4PLAY" (some heifer at the Van Nuys DMV didn't want to release it to me April '08). Got a notice in the mail April '09 saying the plate will be returned to the DMV if not picked up. Called DMV in Sacto, told them what happened, and they said speak with a supervisor. If the plate passes the on-line check and gets made, the local DMV has no authority to withold it. I went to the DMV, told a supervisor exactly that, and got my plate. I saw a earlier model Mustang Cobra (2 previous models from the latest release) with a plate that says USNOOOZ. It was at night and I was behind him on the freeway. He saw my lights getting closer behind so he takes off. Of course I changed lanes and floored it right past him. We got off the same exit and he was parked next to me but looked the other way.
Also saw a new CTS-V on Mon and his plate was CTSVZ06. Not sure if he's trying to say his car basically has a Z06 engine or that perhaps he has a Z06 at home as well. We took turns playing follow the leader for a bit but when the road opened up, he didn't floor it or I don't think he did since it seemed too easy for me to stay on his tail. Oh well...would have liked to see how fast that car can go.
