If you get one get it from amazon, free shipping and no tax.
The screen is a LED IPS at 2500res. IPS is the best display type you can get. The 30inch non LED cinema display alone is 1800, this is 1699 for a entire computer.

Tell me about it. Mine is just one year old and i'm also pretty hooked up.
Still there is one thing that i can't get rid of, and that is the fact that once you buy it it's pretty hard to expand it ! For instance, as Apple doesn't offer a SSD even as an option for the iMac, i would first thing swap the HDD with a SSD. Trust me, in those days the HDD is the major bottleneck to the computer, even the 15k drives, and the 10k drives let alone a 7200rpm hdd.
I didn't know that. WOW that's nice and yet it's so normal...i wonder why they didn't think of that for the previous generations.

Thats how they make money, keep releasing products with features they could have put in previous ones, and they know people will buy a "new" one to upgrade.
Looking at the iMac again and again....i think it looks so darn gorgeous!! Stunning piece of technology or it's more like a masterpiece. I like how they pay attention to the details and materials and........

I'm getting one of these mice too... The mighty mouse works well enough, but the built-in track ball can be a little susceptible to "fluff" and you need to clean it out. Nothing a quick blast with a compressed air cleaner can't cure, but I really like the clean, understated approach of the new multi-touch mouse.
