As the title states, does anyone know of any good, well respected sites that won't screw you over and try to take your money?

Let me know.

thanks.

I hope bad times have not befallen you! First I would check with your local Credit Union or Bank.

The consumer agency advisories discourage using debt consolidators - claiming many take your money and add to a person's financial pain rather than ease it!

Many communities have set up consumer affairs offices to help people with the financial problems the current economic situation has caused. I'd suggest you go that route first - they are FREE services - not selling (or hawking) a magic elixir.

And if you still want to try a debt consolidator, BEFORE you give them any money OR sign a contract ... check them out with the Better Business Bureau!!

Good luck
