long story why, but i need to download a video from qvc.com like a product video demo. it plays in my browser but i guess for some reason they dont allow downloads. is there any way around this? im not real computer savy.

My guess is that it's probably Flash based which is embedded into the site. This is mainly used for copyright protection of the videos.

While there are some "hacks" that say you can download flash videos (to be honest I never tried them), however, this may be iffy since the video on the link you sent is still embedded within a frame. The link you sent is actually just to the page where the video can be reached, but you still have to click on the video tab to get to it. Also, notice that if you click on the video tab, the address does not change. It's still embedded in there.

Yeah it seems kind of tricky. I found a website that will take the video from a link and turn it into a file but because of the frame I guess it doesn't work. I tried to view that in a pop up window somehow but I can't figure out that either
