swajames - you invited others to make up their own minds so I looked up your term "disingenuous"

"disingenuous
Adjective
dishonest and insincere
disingenuously adv
Collins Essential English Dictionary 2nd Edition 2006 ? HarperCollins Publishers 2004, 2006"

swajames - you called the OP juris dishonest. There was no need to do that. "Disingenous" is defined as "dishonest".

Why would he owe you an apology when it was you who attacked his opinion and resorted to calling him dishonest?

Greg, it should be reasonably apparent that finding the OP's post disingenuous, which for the reasons I have clearly articulated earlier in this thread I absolutely believe it was, is not the same thing as one finding or calling the OP dishonest.

And for the record, the word has multiple definitions including many that are distinct from dishonesty...

Move forward and focus on all of Obama's false promises that tricked you into voting for him.
If his promises are indeed false then he would be no different than any of his recent predecessors.

Maybe if the Republicans found a better VP running mate to compliment McCain then Obama's "trickery" wouldn't have been successful.

I disagree. McCain had formidable credentials and could have mounted a serious challenge if he had a better running mate.

The problem was Sarah Palin. Even Ray Charles could have seen the flaws she had as a VP candidate.

I completely agree McCain had formidable credentials and I stood in line for 3 hours to vote for him because of it. I refuse to credit Palin with his loss. I am not a sarah palin fan, but I think Peoples Anti-Bush/Pro Obama sentiment not only drew out typical non-voters from the woodworks, whether it be bush hating hippies or "oh my god a black guy could be president" retards, but even swayed a many of republicans to vote democrat.

John McCain was the reason McCain lost. He did not differentiate himself from Obama, they had virtually the same ideas and policies. He is not a conservative and is a sorry excuse for a Republican, that is why he lost.

the statistics on first time african american voters was insane.....geee i wonder who they voted for??? Obama is a better celeb than a president. It was the hip, trendy, cool thing to go out and vote for Obama. Then when he was elected cry like a baby. Not because a man with good views or policies won but because a BLACK MAN WON. Had nothing to do with his ability or should i say inability to run the country.
