California usually sets the trends for the rest for the country. With its state run Universal Health care law the state finds itself 26 BILLION DOLLARS in debt! The left-wing liberals in California have for too long spent recklessly and irresponsibly, to prosecute its socialist agenda, more than it took in. Now the Democrats in Congress, led by Trend-setter-Role Model California's Pelosi, have their sights set on the remaining 49 states.

Well, here's another thread proving that we'd much rather argue than do something about the things that are going terribly wrong with our country... we have really been reduced to the society that is happy to get fvcked in the a$$ by it's Gov't, as long as we can "go on the interenet and complain" afterwards - we can all thank Bush for that one.

Re: Corporations pay taxes ... wrong. Corporations collect taxes and build that expense into the cost of products/services the consumer buys. Ultimately, individuals pay virtually all taxes.
Also, regarding the cost of the proposed health care program: Have you ever seen where any major Federal Government (or State for that matter) program survived with the cost that was discussed to ?sell? the program.
