This is caused by improper installation where the surface was not completely dry, or has not been pressed well all around the sticker's edge, so humidity entered behind little by little. A good pushing is needed all around the sticker's edge during installation in order to avoid humidity entering behind ...as per instructions here and here
Important advice: if you are not sure about how you did push the edge properly during installation and glue has not been affected by humidity so far, please check/do it again now. Get a little spoon and push it slowly but hard enough all around like this

Almost like the thing your cup is sitting on...
I don't really mind as long as the orange is covered up.

But if you make it again, I would probably get another set!
There are some 3-4 pairs left with small faults ...not too visible, but looking way much better than my couch
Nick - My stickers have started to get wrinkled too. I don't know if it was the improper installations or a combination of cold and rainy weather. Anyway, I still have an extra one for the left hand side (if you remember back then, I asked for one). But I need to get another one for the right side. Please let me know when you start making them again. Thanks.

any other guys from the first bunch of stickers have had something similar or even someone that still have them on without this kind of issue?
I'll start thinking that something on the surface like wax or kind of chemical can't be completely wiped-out with just only good washing. Maybe a "wax removing" solvent is needed in some cases
