I have a Griffin i trip for the iphone.(fm) RDS shows song/artist info on idrive.(TOO MANY IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIs!)
It's ok given the crap quality stock sounds and it does charge.BUT it doesn't seem to have 'hands free' capability.?30 so i ain't
complaining!

hmmmm went through the pages of this thread and got a quick question.
Can the dealer install an AUX only (I figure it'll be cheaper) or does it have to be the full Ipod integration kit?

Do you have an option on your IDrive to increase a power (W or volume) automatically for AUX input?
I had this option on my E46 M3, it gave increase an output power, so I didn?t have to adjust volume knob between FM and AUX all time.

I realise this is the UK site so apologies, but I'd rather pay peanuts and get really good sound than get my pants pulled down over the price of a "proper" aux-in solution from the dealer!!!!!
