I have one of the first spots in the country.. i put a 500$ deposit on it. Ill be leasing this puppy, but im getting the M5 not 5

So by the time you get your car, there will be plenty of people with "regular" F10s in the country...

I'd have no qualms getting a first year F10. BMW knows how to build a car, and moving from the E60 to the F10 is probably more of an evolution than the revolution we saw as the E39 transitioned to the E60. The first year F10 will be just fine, benefiting as it will from the learning BMW gained from 7 years or so of E60 production.

My most trouble free models of other makes have been those bought in the latter half of the life-cycle,all the early problems sorted,plus a higher specification than at launch.

Not anytime soon. 528i for a 16 year old is a fine car for me . Maybe my parents?
