Hey everyone. I have a 2016 BMW 550. I bought my car brand new 12/2015 and aside from an early spark failure at 26k miles and some headlight issues due to a small incident, my car has been great and very reliable. But I've read so many horror stories specifically about the engine that now that my car just made it to 30k miles I'm growing more and more concerned. I don't want to get rid of it because I love it so much. What I would really like to know is what is the maintenance schedule that other N63 owners have followed. What preventative measures to take. And what mileage. I want to make sure this car grows old with me so if I have to do things earlier than what BMW recommends I don't mind. So long as I can sleep at night and not worry about the ticking grenade outside.

I own a 17 F16 50i so I know what you are concerned about. Me personally after my warranty I put in a 85c thermo and added a sport oil cooler valve (keeps temps down so you will not have premature hose or gasket failures). Next I change my oil every 5000 miles with moly 5w40 and 2 cans of moly Mos2. Also you want to change the plugs every 30k. I don't know if you're running a tune if so injectors at 30k-50k. Other than that there's not much more you can do.
