True is that the Icelandic volcano made a mess of European flights for about two weeks.
There was also some discussion about some production difficulties in some factories.
But still, this sounds a bit crazy, but is somehow believable.

That is the best explaination I have had yet. Makes the most sence also. Just wish it had come from my dang dealer so I would not be so mad at them and BMWNA.

While on vacation I had several discussions with my dealership and traded emails back and forth. The end of it all was that I got some nice concessions and picked up my first BMW today. I have not played with all the buttons as of yet, but I will tell you from a bimmer novice, this car actually scares me with the power. I can not imagine it with the sports package. I know I will get a ticket as is. More later, but the purpose of this post is that the car has been delivered as sits in my garage.

Outstanding Doc!!
We can't wait to see some pics and hear some of your thoughts on the handling/ride/power and what ever else you can think of...

Congrats Doc! I picked mine up yesterday and am very excited/happy. I still need some "alone time" with the car to get a good grasp on everything. So far I've taken the wife and son out for a spin, and a few short errands. I need to get familiar with all of the settings/controls, and then spend some time on the road with no distractions to really get settled in. I just came in from sitting in the car in the garage to see all the interior lights at night (first time in it at night) and setting all my sat and radio presets.
