Navigation with current speed limit display

On my Garmin, I get the speed limit for my current location displayed, but the nav on my 528i I can't get this display. Seems if the data is available, it should be also available on the BMW nav. Any know if this might be viewable perhaps in a future software upgrade? It is a really handy feature ...

My Ride: 2011 520dA coming up.
That's what they sell the optional "speed limit info" for.
Remember, we buy BMW's you gotta pay for the goodies.
At least we get the cup holders for free on the F10/F11

My guess is that BMW is worried about the liability of providing speed limit info from a database that may be outdated or incorrect.
The European option of speed limit warnings come straight from a camera that reads the Euro speed limit signs. Obviously, that would be more accurate -- especially in construction zones, etc. where a database would certainly be wrong...
