Hi,
Ive just picked up a 2015 535D M Sport and wondered if theres a way I can tell whether or not it has launch control? Ive tried a few different things but not managed to get that flag to pop up.

I read somewhere that every 8 speed with quick shift paddles has launch control but not sure how true that is.

Is there a way to tell?

 

Make sure your car is fully up to date. From what I've read, if you have the sport auto trans (call your dealer with your VIN if unsure), make sure you put the car in sport+ mode, transmission in sport, plant your left foot on the brake, and floor the gas beyond the click in the pedal and you should get a race flag in the dash. I have a 2011 535i xDrive non-M and it doesn't have that but it still launches like that
