i've talked to the dealer yesterday and the salesperson told me bmw will put the new f10 in production next sept which means we'll get our cars by nov/dec the earliest. well, but what do the salespeople know

I'll stick with the info in the German press - F10 in March 2010 (Geneva) and F11 in September (Frankfurt). But, as with the case of the E39, if sales suddenly plummets... they could move the intro half a year and then let the first buyers test the car

The 5,4 L M-B S is called S500 in Europe but is a S550 in the US.
US markets are in a EU point of a laugh.
Let's see what the F10 TT 4.4i will be called in the US - a 555i is a good guess.
But the L6 3.0 TT 7-series is a 740i and the V8 4.4 TT is a 750i.
Who cares, yes, to US marketeers...
