But a similar design scaled down for a 5er - IMHO - won't work as well as, say, the e60. It might be just me, but the reason I think 5er is the best Bimmer to have is because its always - ALWAYS - been ahead of its bigger and smaller sisters in terms of design. Case in point: e60 still looks like its a fresher design than the e90. Same thing with e39 vs e46 (not even mentioning the e36). Or if you compare e39 to e38, the 5er looks fresher again. At least, to my eye. If the F10 does not have that "je ne sais quoi", I'm out of the 5er and into an M3 in a couple of years.
