I just stumbled accross this thread. LMAO at the man digging a hole for himself. Very on point and well-earned.
Of course, $80k does seem like a ridiculously high price for a 300 bhp sedan -- BMW or not. But that's how it goes with German cars. Everything is an option. Lucky for my wallet that I only need my rides to be moderately optioned -- sport pacakage, nav, premium sound, cold weather package and I'm good to go. Biggest deal to me is big power under the hood. But for others who prize super high tech options, BMW offers them. They just cost a pretty penny.
