+1 on the 1967 Stingray 427 (as I sit here wearing my Barrett-Jackson sweatshirt).

I had the engine in High School (put it in a 72 Monte Carlo I had), still have yet to get the Stingray though, and I think that is the sexiest design of all time.

What are some improvements you'd like to see as BMW moves from E60 to F10? I know it's too late now, as I'm sure BMW is ironing out the last few wrinkles on the model. But, what are some things that you'd really like to see changed or offered at a minimum on the upcoming 5 series?

Provide a full size spare wheel and tire and a well deep enough to house them. How otherwise can you take a long trip with confidence?

You are funny. Coke from Sonic? CDs? Li model? Looks like you need an F150 (Supercrew, no less) - Ford is best in Texas btw. LOL Now, waitaminute? You had an F150? What happened there?
No offense man.
No offense man.
I knew this car was too snooty for me.
----------------------
Audi offers the long version of the A6 (A6 L) , what would be wrong with BMW offering the 5Li (They sell it in Asia) in the US? The car is very comfotable in the front seat, but anyone sitting behind me better be under 4' tall, or going on a short trip. The Li version of the 5 would be so perfect (for us), I wouldn't even consider the 7 (Which is probably why BMW will never sell a 5** Li in the USA). It's good as is, but with an extra 6 - 12" of rear leg room, it'd be a very nice long-haul machine.

Yep, we've had SuperCrew's two of them. Truthfully, I miss driving it. I mean, this 5 is nice, but once you get used to riding high...
We leased it, and the lease was over so we "upgraded" to the BMW... But, like I said- I miss the truck... I don't miss the $90 - $120 fill ups, but I miss the vehicle.
Love bimmers... Still miss the truck.

So what are you saying? When you drive a BMW, you've evolved past Coca-Cola and Fast Food resturants?

I'd love to haev an X5, 4.8i. I saw one and that thing had th ewidest tires on it I've ever seen, this side of a Dodge Viper...
Those must've been 315/20/22's on that thing...With BMW wheels on it...
I've ridden in the 2010 x5 3.0i. It was alright too... Huge sunroof in that thing, but no nicer / more powerful than my Edge. So, if I go X5, I gotta go V8.
I don't know if I want another SUV, but the wife is defeintely tryign to point me that way... I'm thinking sports car (Mustang GT or Camaro RS/Z-28), or luxury car (745Li, A8L, or LS430). I'm 40 now, and over due for my mid-life crisis- but, the X5 would be nice...
I see previous gen 4.8i's going for under $30K, depending on mileage- but seeign the old one next to the new one, makes the old one look- real old- not just "slightly" outdated...

+1 on having an oil temperature guage....that is one of the things i enjoyed most about switching from the 550 to the M5
But the biggest thing they need to do is improve the speed of the idrive. Spring for a $20 computer chip on a $100k car.
