I'm the proud owner of a 535xi (post May 1st production build) with 6NR and iPhone Apps. I was disappointed to learn that there's no adapter yet available for the iPhone 4 (that will take advantage of the video-out functionality).

Anyone know anything definitive about when it will become available?

 

In my personal experience cell phones change faster than car companies are able to engineer, manufacture, and sell "cell phone specific adapters".

I'm curious, could you use the car's USB port and an iPhone cable to push video to your car?

 

its delayed until the summer due to overheating issues.
