Can't wait to see what the 0 to 60 will be with the Dinan Stage 2 I also ordered. I am guessing low fours. Not quite F10 M5 terrority but in E60 M5 territory.

Now if only BMW would chop 400-500 pounds from the car. In test drive it did not feel as nimble as my E60 550. It sure did feel faster and more luxurious but the light on its feet feeling of my E60 is not there.

Yeah, but the F10 550i Sport doesn't come close to the feel of the E60 M5. It's not raw and is way too cushy of a ride (no surprise there though -- it's not an M). I test drove the car, as I was debating what to do with my M5, but after test driving the F10 550 in Sport Plus mode (as close to M mode as you'll get), it wasn't even in the same league. It was a very easy decision to make. I felt the new F10 550 drove more like a MB. Let's hope the new M5 offers a little more of a raw feel...

Yep. The F10 drives like a MB (and I test drove the car in Sport Plus mode the entire time, as this would give me as close a feel as possible to my E60 M5's "rawness". I gave the keys back to my dealer and got back into my E60 M5 with a huge smile on my face.

Agree 100%. The F10 550i Sport is a luxury car that goes really fast and with xDrive and Dinan Stage 2 has super acceleration but is somewhat soft and cushy. It does feel like a MB and that pisses me off. With xDrive the car weighs over 4,500 -- not exactly a sporty weight. The E60 M5 is a F1 car in a sedan body -- much more raw and exciting.

I am sure the F10 M5 will feel very fast -- much faster than the E60 M5. But it will never approach your car's sound and it will never feel as light on its feet. The NA V10 is a one of a kind engine and no TT V8 will sound or feel like it.

For me, having bought a good-sized Manhattan apt last year (and having to carry it), there is only so much that I can spend on a car right now. And the F10 M5's monthly payments will be out of my price range.

Even better, who would have thought they would have SAV's at all?

Funny you should mention that... My new BMW TT V8 just arrived this weekend at my dealer and is being picked up this Saturday. It's being tuned too and is then going directly to my body shop for the usual cosmetic additions. I added the $3500 Adaptive Drive/EDC option this time, as I figured this option plus the paddles (now standard on 50i Sport models), will convince me to take this car out more often on family road trips over the M.

It will be a tough decision every Saturday...

Tuned TT V8 or NA Tuned V10. I guess there are worse problems to have. Hahaha!

There are certainly worse problems to have. It all depends on whether you want the power up high or down low. Which tune are you getting? And enjoy the new ride C.
