Sure does.

Right now Dinan is unable to reflash the TTV8 in the 2012s due to changes by BMW in the ECU's programming. As of yesterday, Dinan told my dealer that it is furiously working to solve the problem and expects to solve it shortly. There is a thread up about it on Bummerfest's F10 forum.

Then maybe I'll go with Evolve like I have in my M5. I'm not too worried, as I'll have a tune in there one way or another. My dealer doesn't care what tune I do, which is why I love them.

Great dealer you've got. Dinan tune should be out for the 2012 TTV8 shortly

I went into my dealer yesterday for final preps for delivery (taking place today -- in 3 hours). When discussing the tune, they pretty much told me not to bother with the Dinan tune and go with a different company, especially since I'm leasing and the current 3rd party tunes allow you to add/remove the tune yourself these days with an OBD cable and are identical in gains. In not so many words, they told me the Dinan figures are inflated (hence the reason you never see a dyno map from them) and the price is double, as the dealers make a good margin on the tune too. I just saved myself $1500+!

I love my dealer!

Evolve. ESS also has a tune that you can do with an OBD cable that lets you add/remove. ESS is a little more (I think $1700).

How are the results of the tune?
