Okay, I'm a bit confused, how is it BMW advertise 0-60 - 5.2s, Motor Trend 6.0s and this video claims 4.5s! Which is the right number?

This is the 550i xDrive not RWD 550i.
BMW's number is 4.8s (0-100km/h): http://www.bmw.com/com/en/newvehicle...ata/index.html

It's nice to know that the x-drive is available with a true sport suspension, with ARS, etc...unlike the E60 xi's.

Just you wait! I have a strong suspicion that the F10 M5 might pack xDrive as well...

And yes, I "plus one" on the awesomeness of Xi with a proper sports suspension! Just might be my next ride, if it makes sense financially when I'm done with the E60...

I hope the new m5 is x drive. It is the only reason why i have not got an m5! I have my doubts, cause it goes against bmw m thinking. On the other hand, who would have ever thought they would have had m sav's!

speaking of your e60 xdrive, that is what i have as well. Do you happen to know what the widest rim that you can use up front is? Could you go 19x9.5 with offset of 35?

Then one should go with xDrive!

0-60 numbers are always variable. Weather, car condition, road condition, driver skill all will play a role in what the numbers are. They are not set in stone.

(That being said, Motor Trend did not post a 6.0s mark for the 550i....that's way too slow....It's actually 5.0s. The fastest time I've seen yet posted for the RWD 550i was 4.8s by Car & Driver a while back, although I've seen unofficial times posted as low as 4.4s on some YouTube videos).
