5 series speakers
I really would have thought that a BMW parts or service advisor would be able to answer this but I guess not. I have an F10 M5 with the standard audio system. I'm doing a complete stereo installation, but I'm trying to figure out the speaker diagram for both the regular system as well as the B&O.
I know the standard system has 11 speakers (2 subs under the seat, front mids, front tweeters, assuming coax in the back doors, and not sure about whats behind the back seat.) Does anyone know where the additional speakers in the B&O system are located? Ideally someone has pics of both versions with the door panels removed but having trouble finding it.
And for those who would suggest it, I've contacted multiple BMW dealerships, BMW North American, and B&O directly, no luck!!!

Just for clarification, the standard HiFi System has 12 speakers and the Logic 7 version called Top HiFi System or HiFi Sound System Professional (option 677) has 16 speakers. Unfortunately, I don't know how many speakers are in the B&O system.

Use the vehicle VIN if you have it. Otherwise, Look at this RealOEM page and locate and count all the speakers denoted with "For vehicles with Bang&Olufsen High End Sound System Plus" or with supplement "S6F2A=Yes".
I count a total of 16 speakers.

- Central bass, left and right (2)
- Front door, mid-range (2)
- Front door, tweeter (2)

- Front instrument panel (2) (integrated unit with mid and tweeter)

I did some more digging. The B&O does have 16 speakers (according to BMWusa).
I agree with vkhong about the locations (match up to Logic 7 locations) with the exception of the last item. The front centre location includes a tweeter and a mid-range speaker.
