My 520d Touring has been confirmed for delivery in about 10 days
I have read on this and other forums that there are certain things, mostly on the Idrive I think, that can only be set by the dealer, but often are not.
Many of them are minor things. For instance I believe the colour of your car can be programmed into Idrive so if you breakdow or are in an accidence BMW assist knows the colour of car they are looking for.
Pooling the enormous experience of the members on this forum, what things should I ask my dealer to sort out which are frequently forgotten and which would need another visit to the dealer to sort out. Since I only do 12,000 miles (20,000 kms) per year it may well be 18 months or more before I am next in the dealers for a schedule appointment.
I look forward to you inputs.
