Hi all,

Lately I've been to several places that aren't on our maps and wondered what people have done for updating their DVDs. Is the only option through BMW or are there trusted alternatives?

Our car is a 2005 MY E61.

I think the 2010 pro nav DVD is available via bittorrent.

Give me a few street names and I'll see if they're on there.

Also, there's someone selling 2010 DVDs with extra POIs such as speed cameras and full postcode search. I'll try to find the website. Cost is about 30 UKP or thereabouts.

Is it this guy?

It looked fairly genuine, but I'd rather go on a personal recommendation.

I was thinking of http://www.eurosatnav.com/ but I suspect they're much the same.

I've ordered from the one I posted - but only because I managed to find a phone number so I could speak to someone.

I'll post to let people know how I get on.

well I ordered the disc on Friday and it turned up this morning. Amazing.

Everything works as it should and I've now got speed camera locations and full 7-digit postcode entry.
