Yah, just consider yourself lucky. The only thing that I can possibly think of is that the car was taken in for software update, and the dealer updated the default on the LM2 as well, thus your car has the welcome light and angel eye as drl option.

 

Actually nomis you aren't far wrong!! just remembered, one of my angels wasn't working when i bought the car, took it to a coder who programmed a new unit but told me to keep the old one as the replacement (2nd hand) was newer and wouldn't allow him to completely replace the previous settings - 2nd hand unit was LM2

So if my LM2 ever needs recoding he has to plug in my old LM1 to get the settings, then make any changes before uploading them to the LM2...

Might just hard wire it then as i don't know anywhere near me that could code it

 

To wire the ae to illuminate on unlock is it right that i need a 200v 1amp diode?

 

Does anyone know????.
