Default Unlock illumination on pre-lci?

Is it possible to code a pre-lci E61 so the ae and eyebrows illuminate upon unlocking? Without breaking into the interior light loom
Thanks

If your car was built after 9/06, yes.

What does the build year has to do with it, is a matter of LM1 vs LM2?

Mine does it on a pre 2006 without any coding.... What lights are you running, halogen or xenon?

This can't be right if mine are lighting up - Mines pre LCI and so will have LM1

Right ok, I aklways assumed it was because I have adaptive xenons. Previous owners were very unlikely to code the car so I'm at a bit of a loss as to how mines been done

There is no other way to enable them except hardwire them or do a OEM LCI conversion which will let the AE come on when unlocking.

No worries mate - I'll just have to assume that my car has been a lucky one, I've defo not hard wired it and the previous owners had no inclination to mod the car in any way.
