Does the trailer module not control the output for the trailer lights? I'm concerned that removing $235 will also prevent any trailer wiring from getting a signal if they come from that same module. If you just want the error to be gone, but still use the trailer module I think you'll need to scan with INPA/ISTA/other tools to see what exactly the error is and then troubleshoot it.

I have searched yesterday through INPA and I will search tomorrow too, what's wrong with the module, maybe because I changed the DPF Module? Anyways I just want the error to disappear because it's really annoying when I go to work and I see that thing in my dashboard. Hope $235 will be the Saint

@kd7iwp Out of curiosity, what are some of the things you've coded on your car? I'm working my way through activating my rear cargo roll up cover, so I'm figuring out how to use NCS Expert. Have gotten to the point of reading all the modules in the car, without making any changes yet. Would be interested to know what some other E61 owners have coded.

I am looking forward into coding so the mirrors would fold when I lock the car, when having high speed, the doors should lock, the dashboard rpm and kmh to go clockwise when turning on the engine and much more, but now I have coded so no errors would appear

I retrofitted some M5 seats I picked up that have ventilation, Nasca leather, and the active backrests that move when you corner, so added $453 (ventilation) and $4MF (active backrest). I also retrofitted CIC coming from a MASK unit so added $609 and removed what the $MASK was, can’t remember it’s number. I track all of my changes on github in case I ever need to revert so you can see what I’ve changed in my VO and modules over time here.

on an individual module level I did things like showing active backrest and seat heating/ventilation levels on the CIC display, fog lights on with high beams, variable light distribution with the headlights, current fan speed displayed while in auto mode, and other random little goodies.

Does this mean you had success getting rid of your "Anhangerelektrik ausgefallen"?

Basically in my navigation it shows in german : "Anhangerelektrik ausgefallen", something about trailer. I was wondering how can I code that error so I can delete it. Thank you very much!
I imagine the error is in the electric drawbar, not the trailer wiring. There are 2 different trailer hitch options - electrically actuated that deploys and retracts the drawbar, and mechanical/manual where you insert the drawbar into the socket.
Wiring is handled by the AHM module, though I'm not sure which module controls the electric drawbar (I vaguely remember AHV maybe). They might be the same and the difference is controlled by a different VO. You should be able to code out the errors similar to coding out the hot/cold monitoring of the bulbs.

Cheers,

Andy
