Thanks for sharing! Didn’t know there was a MOST option.

How do you play through it? Does it show up in CCC as something new, does it emulate the satellite receiver? I know where the Aux input option is but haven’t seen anything for MOST.

i see that it requires you to have the CD changer option, which I have. Interesting.

FYI, their faq says at the top that for BMW a cd changer is not required, then you scroll down to the BMW section and it says a CD changer is required… so it looks like their support is about as good as all the other Chinese knockoff brands for these things. My MMI came with little to no support but it wasn’t difficult for me to figure out.

I haven't bought it yet and yes I did see the remark on the CDC option. Don't have the changer,...just a single slot CD player. I do have HIFI thougn. I think enabling the CDC option is the only thing you have to do but I'm not a 100'% sure. Need to connect to MrVolt and interogate them a little

"While the car is good to go as-is, there are a few known issues that are still on the to-do list for the future. Recent service has turned up an oil leak at the valve cover. The valve cover bolts were found to be under torque spec and were re-torqued. This should be monitored. The right side kidney bolster on the driver’s seat is not operating. Also there is a boost code most likely related to the increased boost of the Dinan tune. And due for the next regular service there is a gas tank vent that should be replaced."
Holy shit.... Making me think I should sell my E61 after I finished the upgrades!

4 of the 45 unicorns are Jet Black on Black leather, all US spec.

There was also an M Sport exclusive color: Carbon Black. There were 5 Carbon Black w/ Black leather built; 4 US and 1 Canadian.

Hi BGGNS,
Interesting comment on the Carbon Black. I have I guess, one of those Canadian cars but with Natural leather. Great machine, despite the quirks!

Hey Friends,
Finally posting some tables I created to display the interior/exterior color combos of all the LCI 6MT E61s for North America. 328 in total, 295 US + 33 CAD. 151 cars received the sports package, 131 US + 20 CAD. 45 unicorns featured the M Sport package, 33 US + 12 CAD. The one car that received special paint (Sonderlackierung - 490) was finished in Crimson Red.

Total 2008-2010 BMW 535xi Touring (PT73) with manual transmission

US 2010 BMW 535xi Touring (PT73) with manual transmission and M Sport Package

CAD 2008-2010 BMW 535xi Touring (PT73) with manual transmission and M Sport Package

Now who wants to buy my TiAg unicorn??

Am I simply being stupid and misunderstanding something (maybe it was called something else), or do I just have an extremely rare car?

@mononen We were looking at the LCI models (2008-2010). I'm not sure that anyone has crunched the numbers for pre-LCI (2004-2007)

Oh duh. That makes sense. I was thrown off by the year range mentioned on the original post
('06-'10)
.

Apologies for the confusion.
