[QUOTE=ucsbwsr;1601335]My white wagon (CX02317) is now manual, don't let the VIN fool you!
@uscbwsr, please tell us a bit about the process. DIY, or pay to play? Hiccups? Problems?

Trying to find stats (desperately)
Hi,
As many of you would know, finding a manual E61 in North America is a challenging task, since these are quite rare.
I was in the same category as I was searching for a Canadian manual LCI E61 and it took me 3 years to finally find the one I was looking for, and there's a reason why.
In total, there were 9,885 E61's brought to North America ('06-'10).
If you think this number is huge, there were 9,429 E60 M5 sold in North America, so your chances of finding a E61 wagon are almost equal to those of a E60 M5.
However, if you are interested in a manual E61, your chances of finding one decrease dramatically as there were only 663 manual E61s brought to NA.
As per our comparison, there were twice as many manual E60 M5's (1,364)
If you're really picky and want a manual LCI E61, there are only 328.
Manual LCI E61 M-sport = 45 cars
Titanium Silver Manual LCI E61 M-sport = 3
So yes, this is what unobtanium looks like!

Well now I know who ended up buying the blue on beige car. I inquired about it the last time sold as well. Missed out by an hour or two. That is an awesome package. Only two options that car didn't have are night vision and active cruise. It looked really nice, hope you're liking it.

I’m now finding out how rare it is and wouldn’t mind having some stats to back that up.
glad I found this forum.

So it seems I have the Deep Sea Blue Metallic (A76), 6MT, MSport, MSteering wheel, ventilated seats and lots of other trimmings. Apparently it’s only missing adaptive cruise and night vision according to Jason Smith.
The chart above indicates 4 in this colour. Is that of all the E61s?
thanks.
Sadly my last picture didn’t upload. I’ll try again.

The chart in post #11 by TopPMP is for the LCI ( '08 to '10 model year) MANUAL CARS ONLY for both the US and Canada
The chart is set up to reflect the number of cars in each colour for each country. Blue is for USA, Red is for Canada.
So, based on the chart, you have 1 of only 4 Manual E61's ( 08 through '10) in Deep Sea Blue Metallic in Canada
Congrats on scoring a true unicorn.
