Yeah - I'm thinking of selling it soon, very soon. I have encountered these problems so far:

1] Active Steering faults (several times for no reason, always allowed me to complete the journey and disappeared after restart)

2] Both turbos had to be replaced (on warranty) few thousand Km ago

3] Driver and passenger windows acting funny when closing - rolling up and down a bit then up and down the whole way. Needs repetition Very funny.

4] I think I felt revs dropping from 1800~2000 rpm when cruising yesterday. I may just be paranoid and need a new car

5] Idrive dies from time to time Nothing serious, just a blank screen and reboot once a month.

6] Steptronic feels kinda slow... occasional reset helps.

The conclusion is - it doesn't feel as good as 530ix LCI (ride quality, updated Active steering, new comfort seats, engine & throttle response and many other minor details) I tested few days ago and I'm getting a different engine in my new car too. 530d or 530i because it is 100 Kg lighter and you definitely feel the difference. Most of my driving is in the city (everyday) and once a month a take a long trip (approx. 2000Km). Also the consumption - 12l isn't very good. And also ...I decided I'm getting Touring I can't wait!!!

Hmmmm i?ve been through the 3, 4, 5, and 6!
On the turbos i had to replace the header that conects them and all the gaskets!

How you managed to get 335 ps from the original batch of horses? If I decide to keep this car some horse tuning is a must. I have a friend in CZ, he sells powerboxes, he claims you can get 333 hp and 670Nm ... not 790Nm that would be a value for 745d.

the car spent a morning in a dyno fixing and perfecting the remap!
You can go more, i have a friend with 382 but that is a bit dangerous!

333 from a power box?
I believe that it may be a little too much because the power boxes are not as complete as the remaps!
To get that it means that it will pul a lot of diesel in your engine! With that amount of diesel, there is a lot of smoke to deal with...So beware of your exhaust system! More precisely the filters you have on it! They are expensive to change!

I wanted to go for 350 but that requires a bit more of atention and it is the frontier from save to a non safe remap so i kept this one instead!
