Attachment 74062

... so. may be after this green-lovers won't blame me & JC2 for DPF lack
I've looked at the ACS rear diffuser a number of times. I think it looks particularly good on the Touring, especially in darker colours.

Which brand of tires did you buy? And from where?

Tires are next on my list - have to make a choice by mid-April when my new wheels arrive.

I agree. And it also looks even better with the ACS sports exhaust!

Pricey mods, however...

The diffuser is about 800? and comes unpainted. The sports silencer exhaust is about 1400?. These prices are based from the Swedish ACS price list.

I was told that the sports silencer is best when used with the diesel power upgrade from ACS (2600?), but at the same time, it is rather useless in Finland. There aren't roads here where you can drive at any speed to see the benefits that the exhaust gives. In Central Europe, it is different story.

Have you gone to the ACS dealer in Moscow yet?

I'd stick with Contisport or Pilot Sport, both are really good.

just called there... Rear diffuser costs about EUR 552.- , installation + paint - about EUR 400. Changing exhaust (parts + work) is about EUR 360... kewl )) In total - approx 1300 does it worth to? It becomes comparable with power upgrade....

Well, the diffuser price is good, the paint + install price is not so good... But I have noticed that if I want something installed from the ACS supplier here in Helsinki, their installation costs are more than doing it at my local BMW dealer.

They did not quote you for the whole exhaust/muffler, i.e., sport silencer. It costs at least 1200 EUR, even in Germany. It sounds like they quoted you for the exhaust TIP that is on the sports silencer (you can get that from a vendor on e60.net for a lot less). That costs around 350 EUR, and you could install it yourself.

Ask them about the price for diesel power upgrade for your E61. And sit down when they tell you the cost...

I will get those installed along with the M5 instrument cluster next week!
Hi, this may be a silly question but what does the M5 instrument panel do that the standard one doesn't?
