Here is the site:

http://www.revozport.com/revozportRT.htm

Check out their CF parts.

I am thinking about the grills and lower mirror covers for my M5 mirrors.
Good find man, that page's bookmarked! CF front lip and mirror covers would be a perfect gift for myself this coming spring, in addition to a pair of side skirts

Its not really a mod, but I want to get a 545i E60! I already phoned a dealer in Germany to work a deal, but when they found out the car was registered in Copenhagen they wouldn't take mine as a trade because of the import / export hassles. Hmm, do I really need to put myself through this burocratic nightmare for the V8 or just keep my current car

I have exchanged a few more messages with RevoZport about the M5 mirror covers in CF.

I have also done some searching here, and found that a GB was made for these back in early 2008, without the desired outcome, i.e., the fit and finish were poor.

On that note, RevoZport has another alternative: they buy OE parts from BMW, and laminate the two covers in their guaranteed CF.

The price for a pair: $320 shipped to Finland.

That is about 215 Euros.

I am giving it some serious consideration. If anyone else is interested, let me know. I am not trying to arrange a GB, just letting anyone interested know what the deal is.

I saw a 2004 E61 545i a few weeks ago at the local dealership. Meh.

Non-M-Sport, and missing a lot of the equipment that my E61 has.

Your 530d is awesome! Keep it!!

Shipped and all that's not too shabby, assuming it's possible to dodge VAT & duty. Where are these guys located? If you don't mind waiting until spring I might join you on a mini group buy. On the other hand I'm getting new ideas on changing car pretty much every day now so if you're sure you want these parts, don't wait for me

No worries about VAT or taxes. Trust me on that.

OTOH, let us know what you are thinking about! I mean in terms of car change.

My Touring is a great car, no two ways about it, but my heart is still with the E60 -- I've missed my previous E60 ever since the day I handed it back to the fleet manager. The Touring was a great deal and made sense at the time, but now I want to get the car I want... a V8 E60! If I can get the right car for sensible money, I'm going to go for it... (and Mrs xBMWx has given the green light )

Allright, then I just may pull the trigger on the CF parts if I keep this car or get a similar one.

I'm not gonna tell you about my latest idea since it probably will get me banned from here <cough>A8 3.0tdi (the single frame grille version)</cough>, but I'm still also considering a 535d or LCI 530d. Buth then again I will have changed my mind 10000000 times before spring so no need to make too detailed plans right now....

Let me know. I think that I will go for them (M5 lower mirror covers laminated in CF) in the next few months. We could combine the order into one if you like.

Lets PM about this!

And don't get an A8...

Sounds awesome! I you can afford the extra gas there's no reason not to get a V8. I will be jealous as hell if you get one
